We played Lancaster tonight. No idea whether 1413 with the new King of England, Henry V of Lancaster, was more or less turbulent than this year of Brexit tumult. What can be said based on tonight’s game is that knights are not everything but maybe balance is.

Wingspan is a beautiful game where you give home to a variety of birds in their appropriate habitat. The birds eat a lot BUT produce eggs with which the population can be diversified. As with a lot of games the key thing is goooooood management!
We are at the end of this month… Monday evening we were busy with the alpagas of Altiplano but the traveller interfered so my focus shifted every round… the one who could focus and specialised walked away with the first prize. Tonight 29 March we tried our hands at Wingspan again – we were two and the game felt to short… I had so many plans for my birds that nestled in…
Saturday evening was spent travelling between the pulsars and planetary systems and I could visit all of them using the newly harnessed energy and jump gates! But oh dear… the ones getting the gist of the technologies are the ones who will reign in future
